The University of Bayreuth is celebrating ist 50th anniversary this year. Over the past five decades, it has become a hub of academic excellence in northern Bavaria, among others recognized for its contributions to macromolecular chemistry and polymer research. For this reason, the Journal of Polymer Science has now published a special issue Celebrating 50 Years of Macromolecular Chemistry  Polymer Research at the University of Bayreuth.

It was guest edited by BayBatt member, Prof. Dr. André H. Gröschel, as well as Prof. Alex J. Plajer, Prof. Meike N. Leiske and Prof. Johannes C. Brendel. It contains contributions by numerous other BayBatt members and a number of articles from the field of battery Research. The Journal can be accessed here.
