Student group in front of the CATL company premises in Arnstadt.

Earlier this week, Master's students from the Battery Materials & Technology and Batterietechnik programmes had the opportunity to visit CATL Germany and Fraunhofer IKTS during an excursion to Arnstadt.

At CATL, the students gained insight into the company's battery production in Germany, had an in-depth Q&A session and took a tour of the module production facility.

At Fraunhofer's Battery Innovation and Technology Center, the students were informed about ongoing projects at the center and received a guided tour of the labs and technical center.
