Prof. Bianchini receives IBA 2025 Early Career Research Award

BayBatt member Prof. Dr. Matteo Bianchini (Chair of Inorganic Active Materials for Electrochemical Energy Storage) has received the IBA 2025 Early Career Research Award.

The awards are presented annually by the International Battery Materials Association. They recognise individuals whose dedication, innovation and impact have set new benchmarks in their respective fields, whose achievements exemplify excellence and serve as an inspiration to the entire battery research community. The awards recognise not only their academic achievements, but also the passion and impact that they have, driving battery technology forward to create a more sustainable future.
