2. Bavarian Battery Congress 2025 in Nuremberg
21.07.2025
The Bavarian battery industry came together for the second time at the Bavarian Battery Congress 2025 in Nuremberg to jointly shape the future of energy storage technologies. Organised by Bayern Innovativ, the event provided experts from industry, science and the public sector with a central platform to exchange ideas on current developments, challenges and innovation opportunities along the entire battery value chain.
BayBatt was represented by its director, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Michael Danzer, who presented the Bavarian Battery Alliance during the morning session. This is a newly founded network of Bavarian research and development institutions that brings together experts from all areas of battery technology. Prof. Danzer also took part in a panel discussion on the topic ‘What does the future hold for the German battery industry?’ alongside Minister of State Hubert Aiwanger, KLiB Managing Director Dr. Michael Krausa, Dr.-Ing. Matthias Meindl (MAN Truck & Bus SE) and Uwe Seidel (Group Leader VDI/VDE).
With the support of the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Energy and Regional Development, the congress provided a central platform for exchange, networking and the presentation of concrete support offers along the entire battery value chain.
