During the BayBatt seminar last Thursday, Prof. Dr. Josef Breu was bid farewell from the BayBatt Executive Board. Since BayBatt’s founding, he had represented its interests as a member of the board and deputy director, thereby making a significant contribution to the development of the research center. On behalf of BayBatt, Director Prof. Dr.-Ing. Michael Danzer thanked him for his many years of dedication.

Earlier, in his presentation, Prof. Breu had provided an overview of current battery research at his Chair of Inorganic Colloids for Electrochemical Energy Storage.

At this year’s BayBatt General Assembly in early May, the research center’s third Executive Board was elected, consisting of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Michael Danzer (Director), Prof. Dr. Matteo Bianchini (Deputy Director), Prof. Dr. André Gröschel, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ralf Moos, and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Christina Roth.
